My restaurant is going to be called Kid Cafe'. It will be run by kids and three parents supervising. The food is going to be free for poor people. There will be a ball pit for kids to play in while they wait for their food. Kid Cafe' is a bonding activity and a place to earn confidence through cooking. We will ask companies and our neighborhood to support us by giving money so we can keep the business going. It is a safe place for kids to go when school is out of session.

I will change the world by seeing beyond people's differences and uplifting them. I also will help people, champion them, and care about them. I feel good when I help people and I want everybody to feel the same. Everyone should be treated and cared for equally.

Bees are important because they provide honey and pollinate plants. Without the pollination of plants we wouldn't have food to eat. I plant flowers that attract the bees closer to local vegetable gardens, these bees pollinate the vegetable plants to provide more fresh food to the community. Because I plant for pollinators here, I help to build the population of bees which could be moved to areas that have fewer bees if needed. Bees pollinate food that feeds animals that we use as protein sources. Without those food sources, more people would have to worry about having enough food.

I will change the world by helping to show others the importance of plants.

An oak tree starts as an acorn. Every acorn has just one seed. From that seed an oak tree can grow to be over 100’ tall! Trees help us breathe. From trees, we also get shade or oak trees can be harvested for lumber. I can change the world for tomorrow by planting seeds today. Because of me, 50 years from now there will be mighty oak trees. The world needs my trees.

This picture shows my sister Grace picking up trash in the creek across from our house. This is important because we need to keep our environment clean because it makes our cities so much nicer and it is a very rewarding process. This means a lot to me because without picking up trash it makes people unable to appreciate nature and do activities outside without being bothered by trash and litter.

I took this picture to show how pollution has became a part of animals every day life. This photo is of a nest, if you look closer you can see plastic in it. We need to remember that even the smallest things we do to help the environment, make a big impact. If everyone makes a effort to do small things, such as picking up trash to help the environment, we can change the world.
Turning Dreams into Reality

The Arc of Dreams shows us there are many ways to make our dreams come true and many ways to change the world. We start with a firm base, close to the ground. As we follow the arc, it begins to get thinner, smaller, and less sturdy. When we get to the top there is a gap, a place we have to take a leap of faith. The arc is not solid, it has gaps, as we all do when following our dreams. I can change the world by following my dreams and turning those dreams into reality.

My work is a photograph of a track of fallen dominoes leading to one domino that is standing up and out. Then all the dominoes afterwards are standing up. This shows that you can change the world by standing out and being yourself! You shouldn't have to follow everyone else, you should be able to be yourself and to stand out.

In my opinion, the world would be better if there was equality and if everyone treated each other like equals. That is the way we could try and change the world.

Taken in Yellowstone National Park, I have captured the stars in the night sky, the light in the darkness. I am a positive person and can always find the good in people, the light in the darkness even if it’s dim. Anyone can look at the sky in the daytime, but it takes effort to see the other perspective. I put effort to see more than the outside of a person and see the other side. I see my future self in the shooting stars, reaching for the stars and reaching for my aspirations, like college and career.
Our world has been turned upside down with the COVID-19 pandemic and all types of disasters - both natural ones and man-made violence and racial injustices. In my attempt to capture a way I can change the world, I wanted to find a place of peace. This lake in the mountains was just that spot. I can change the world by creating more places of tranquility wherever I am. I can pick up trash or reduce noise. I can focus on the good around me.

I will change the world by expressing positive emotions through art.
