PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts based on the current year's theme.

Outstanding Interpretation Award
OLIVIA GARZA,
SM South Sophomore
Olivia’s Film Production, “After Tragedy”, interpreting the 2023-2024 contest theme, “I Am Hopeful Because…”, demonstrated creative expression and talented technical skills.
Olivia is awarded $800; a Gold Medal, a Certificate, along with her piece being featured in the National PTA virtual exhibition; and the Shawnee Mission South PTSA is also awarded $200, by National PTA.
